ECI’s Strategy:
Before rescheduling the election dates, the ECI issued various instructions to its election monitors. They were to ensure that the elections were free, fair and completely legitimate. They should be transparent, fair and likeable – basically, the MVP of democracy.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kumar was a big believer in being impartial. He directed the observers to cooperate, keep the elections fair and stay away from any suspicious activities.
On the other hand, ECI tries to include everyone. For people with disabilities, senior citizens above 80 years of age and some vulnerable tribal groups, they are setting up home voting systems and simple polling places. That’s really neat!
EC Goyal, another influential person, reminded the audience that they act as the eyes and ears of the ECI. They have to find quick solutions to the issues. Even on social media, EC Pandey objected and said that monitoring is being done to ensure that everything remains positive.
This election is important:
When CEC Kumar says these elections are important, he is not joking. They have been discussing this with everyone, including politicians and law enforcement, for a very long time. ECI is also using an exciting technology called “roll-to-pole”. Make sure every eligible voter votes. it was good!
Total Numbers of Assembly Seats States Wise:
Now let’s dive into the world of numbers.
Madhya Pradesh – 230 Seats
Rajasthan – 200 Seats
Telangana – 119 Seats
