Skanda Movie Review: Action and Family Drama Blend : Sri Leela and Ram Pothineni played a couple. Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam were the other languages besides Telugu in which it was published. The trailers depicted action and family dynamics. What about the film (Skanda Review)?

“Skanda Story” is as follows.

The daughter of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister (played by Ajay Purkar) is getting ready for a lavish wedding, which is the focus of the narrative. But just before the auspicious ceremony, a shocking turn of events takes place when she is discovered with the Telangana Chief Minister’s (Sharath Lohitswa) son. Between the two friendly Chief Ministers, this incident causes a fierce rivalry. The Andhra Pradesh chief minister (Ram Pothineni) dispatches Gunapam, a fearless and tenacious man, to retrieve his daughter in order to resolve the situation. In response, the Telangana CM sets up the engagement of the Andhra CM’s daughter to his own son. However, Ram also brings the daughter of the Telangana chief minister (Sri Leela) along on that momentous day, in addition to the CM of Andhra Pradesh.

The mystery intensifies as we try to figure out who Ram really is and the hidden links between Ram Pothineni, the Chief Ministers, and the imprisoned Rudraganti Ramakrishna Raju (played by Srikanth). As the rest of the film plays out, the audience is kept interested by revelations and unexpected turns.

Analysis (Skanda Review):

Boyapati Srinu’s distinctive style is evident throughout “Skanda,” showcasing his ability to infuse morality and familial sentiment into mainstream cinema. The movie is a lavish spectacle that appeals to the tastes of regular moviegoers. Boyapati has consistently shown that he understands the preferences of a mass audience with his previous blockbusters like “Bhadra,” “Sinha,” “Legend,” and “Akhanda,” and “Skanda” is no different.

The movie captures the audience’s attention from the outset and makes a powerful impact that is comparable to a clash of titans. The first ten minutes of the movie make Boyapati Srinu’s directing skills clear. Taman’s background music enhances the overall experience. Ram’s introduction and the following action sequences are designed to appeal to a broad audience. The plot twist that occurs before the film’s standout scenes adds a layer of intrigue and successfully draws in mass action fans.

But it’s important to remember that Boyapati’s earlier movies weren’t renowned for their compelling stories and logical coherence. This is the same with “Skanda,” too. The audience is advised not to focus on the technical details of how the hero drives a tractor to the Chief Minister’s home or how the action sequences are carried out. Instead, the emphasis is on savoring Boyapati Srinu’s cinematic magic, complete with bloody action and dramatic beheadings. Even though these components might not appeal to everyone, they are essential to the kind of action seen in Boyapati’s earlier movies.

Ram Pothineni shines under Boyapati’s leadership as the prototypical mass hero. Taman’s background music enhances the film’s polished commercial style, which boasts high production values. Thoughts were high for the songs, they fell short. A large part of the film’s overall visual appeal is due to the excellent cinematography.

Ram Pothineni performs admirably, giving a convincing portrayal of a popular figure. He has played similar roles in the past, but his performance in “Skanda” elevates it. He portrays a stubborn young man who bravely faces powerful foes and is prepared to put his life in danger in order to keep his father’s word. He paints a compelling picture of a son who is cherished and revered by his parents. Ram gives his character depth by adopting a Telangana accent in some scenes. He exhibits a fierceness similar to a tiger hunting its prey in the action scenes.

Despite having a small role in the movie, Sri Leela and Ram Pothineni have a good rapport. Their dance routines give the songs more vigor. Although Sai Manjrekar’s character only appears briefly on screen, her importance to the plot development cannot be overstated. Supporting players like Ajay Purkar, Sarath Lohitaswa, Srikanth, Daggubati Raja, Gautami, and others deliver adequate performances within the parameters of their respective parts. In certain scenes, some of them give their characters a sense of sobriety.

To sum up, the action films made by director Boyapati Srinu stand out for their distinct approach to big-budget violence. In “Skanda,” he is prominently seen shooting action scenes in his distinct style. The film’s family-related sentiments don’t, however, have as much impact as its action scenes, which is something to keep in mind. The highlights of the movie are Ram Pothineni’s outstanding performance and the intense mass action. “Skanda” is intended for viewers who enjoy intense mass action and cinematic spectacle. After seeing the film, the teaser for “Skanda 2” suggests yet another action-packed extravaganza, promising a Mad Max-style action movie that’s sure to excite fans.

Conclusion, “Skanda” is a visually appealing film that appeals to a wide audience, providing a satisfying balance of action and drama while adhering to Boyapati Srinu’s distinctive style. Fans of adrenaline-fueled, larger-than-life cinema must see it.
