Rising Moon is a rare film. It’s a great sci-fi movie that doesn’t come from an existing story. Snyder calls it “Seven Samurai in Space,” a reference to the famous 1954 film about farmers who hire warriors to protect their crops. In Rebel Moon, protagonist Korra (Sofia Boutella), a former member of the evil Imperium hiding on a quiet farming moon called Veldt. He acts when the Empire threatens to bring the next harvest. Cora travels off-world to assemble a group of fighters including Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Michel Huisman, Staz Nair, Duna Bae, Ray Fisher and Cleopatra Coleman. There is also a robot knight, voiced by Sir Anthony Hopkins.
